It's been a while since I've really kept my on-line friends up-to-date on my life, so I'm not really used to it, anymore. Though, there is the little fact that I don't have nearly as many on-line friends as I used to, so, there wasn't really a point. But I do enjoy writing and typing, so why not?

Last weekend (not yesterday, but the weekend before that) my husband, friend, and I went to the ZOO! It was so much fun. I realize it seems a little childish, but I don't care. I saw flamingos and a polar bear and koalas and all sorts of animals! We watched the seals be fed and most of the other animals sleep, but it was still awesome. James bought me a stuffed snow leopard that I have named Steve

Since the zoo was in ABQ (three hour drive away), we spent the whole day there. We had some coffee with our friend who moved there a few years ago, then we had some lunch at this hot dog place James remembers from his childhood, then we went to the zoo! After the zoo we went to an international food market and got all kinds of goodies (like steambuns, my fav ramen you can't get anywhere else, some candies, sake, gyoza, among other things). Then we went to eat at a place called Shogun's. It's a sushi place and the food was good and plus they had little boats floating around the sushi bar that were really neat. After that we drove back home. We didn't get home until about midnight, but it was awesome and fun.

Spring break is next week and James and I are going back to ABQ (without the friend this time, as a special him and me thing ) We're going to see our friend who lives there again, then I think we're going to go to the museum or aquarium or something. We're going to eat at a place called Samurai's (it's like a Japanese steakhouse, I believe, where they cook the food on a grill in front of you). We're also going to the stay the night so we aren't as rushed as before and so it's more like a vacation. We're going to go back to that market before we head home, too. I can't wait!

In other news, tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day, so happy that to everyone. I actually get to teach my first class tomorrow. It's a second grade music class. I will be sharing a bit about St. Patrick's Day with them, pass out some sparkling shamrock stickers, then lead them in a game while we sing a song about leprechauns to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb. I am SO nervous, but excited, too. I actually dreamed about it last night, and it went alright in my dream, so...

That's all I've really got for now. I'm just doing school work, playing WoW and CS:S, reading, watching movies, you know, the regular stuff of life.

Of course, my favorite thing to do is just spend time with my honey <3
